The company and the family of CEO Bernard Arnault promised \u20ac200 million ($226 million). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company said in a statement that the donation showed \u201csolidarity with this national tragedy\u201d and that funds would be used to&nbsp;rebuild this \u201cextraordinary cathedral\u201d&nbsp;and symbol of French heritage and unity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pinault family, which controls French luxury conglomerate Kering, pledged an additional \u20ac100 million ($113 million).
